New places for Trek lovers In Kodagu / Coorg

Mandalapatti (637 m.), kodagu
Mandala Patti, a good 20 to 30 kms from Madikeri towards Devasthuru Bridge and Kaalooru Hole.


Mandala Patti is one of the trekking points in Pushpagiri Wildlife Sanctuary or Pushpagiri Forest Range.


Pushpagiri Forest Range spreads from Subrahmanya in Dakshina Kannada district to Somwarpet in Coorg district covering an area of 102.6 sq km. Kumara Parvata Peak stands the tallest amongst the peaks in Pushpagiri Wildlife Sanctuary

Kotebetta (1620 m.)
Kotebetta is the third highest peak in Kodagu district after Brahmagiri and Thadiyandamol. The name in Kannada means “Fort hill”, because of the fort like appearance of the peak..

8kms from Madikeri & 6 km from Madapura, is the Kotebetta (1620 m.)


Choma Kunda (1620 m.)



Two kms from Chelavara Falls is place is “Choma Kunda” Hills, famed for its mesmerising beauty and sunset station.


Nishani Motte (1270 m.),
Nishani motte is a relatively unknown peak (yet!) in the talacauvery / branhmagiri range.

It lies to the south of Bhagamandala in a range which extends from Talacauvery in the north to
Somamale in the south in one contiguous stretch without any break, going through peaks like
Nishani motte, Tumba male, and Tadiyandamol.

Mallalli Falls (62mtrs),Somwarpet Coorg

Mallalli Falls (Kannada:ಮಲ್ಲಳ್ಳಿ ಜಲಪಾತ) is situated in the Western Ghats region of Kodagu District, Karnataka. Mallalli falls is situated in the foothills of pushpagiri, around 25 km from Somwarpet.

Note: all kms are almost exact & the distacne is from MADIKERI, capital for Kodagu district.
